Product Manager - Life Sciences Automation


Location: Ireland (field-based with home office and office presence)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Competitive salary plus uncapped comission and package


About the Role


A market leading life sciences organisation is seeking a Product Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of advanced laboratory automation genomics and biobanking technologies across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

This role combines product ownership consultative sales and technical support. You will work closely with customers international suppliers and internal teams to drive revenue growth manage product positioning support installations and introduce new technologies into research pharma and clinical laboratory environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop assigned product lines within laboratory automation genomics and biobanking

  • Deliver annual sales and margin targets through structured account planning and market development

  • Identify develop and close new opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead management

  • Manage the full sales cycle using CRM tools and structured communication workflows

  • Act as the primary commercial and technical contact for designated international suppliers

  • Deliver technical consultations solution configuration demonstrations and presentations

  • Support pre sales and post sales activity in collaboration with applications and service teams

  • Contribute to marketing initiatives digital campaigns and CRM driven lead generation

  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and product lifecycle developments

  • Maintain strong collaboration with sales service administration and logistics colleagues

  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain technical and market expertise



Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in life sciences sales product management or business development

  • Strong record of new lead generation and achievement of sales targets

  • Commercially aware with a consultative and solutions focused approach

  • Excellent communication presentation and customer engagement skills

  • Comfortable operating within an SME environment with cross functional collaboration

  • Experience with laboratory automation software or related technologies advantageous

  • Full clean driving licence with willingness to travel
