About the Role

Grey Wave Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to support the implementation and optimisation of healthcare software solutions used within hospital and clinical environments. This role combines clinical expertise with technical application support and focuses on ensuring that digital solutions are successfully deployed and integrated into healthcare workflows.

You will work closely with clinical teams, project managers and sales colleagues to support demonstrations, system configuration, implementation and post-deployment support. The role requires strong clinical insight, an interest in healthcare technology and the ability to translate operational clinical needs into effective digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Support pre-sales activities including product demonstrations and clinical solution presentations
• Work with sales teams to help customers understand system functionality and clinical workflow improvements
• Assist in the deployment and implementation of healthcare software solutions across hospital sites
• Participate in configuration workshops and gap analysis exercises with clinical stakeholders
• Support user acceptance testing and assist in validating system performance prior to go-live
• Deliver clinical training sessions and provide guidance to healthcare users on system functionality
• Assist with internal testing and quality assurance of software solutions
• Provide on-site support during new system deployments and go-live periods
• Deliver ongoing post-implementation support to users and clinical teams
• Maintain documentation, templates and training materials to support customer adoption
• Work collaboratively with project and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Travel to healthcare sites as required to support implementation and training

Candidate Profile

​

• Clinical background with nursing experience ideally within operating theatre or intensive care environments
• Strong interest in healthcare technology and clinical information systems
• Experience working within hospital environments or with HSE / NHS healthcare systems
• Experience supporting software implementation, training or testing within clinical environments desirable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organisational skills with ability to work within project timelines and delivery milestones
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple healthcare sites
