About the Role

Grey Wave Recruitment is seeking a Nurse - Careline & Diagnostics to support patients undergoing therapy for sleep disordered breathing and respiratory conditions. This role combines telephone-based patient support with clinic-based diagnostics and monitoring, ensuring that patients receive effective guidance and achieve optimal therapy compliance.

Working as part of a specialist clinical team, you will assist patients through helpline support, remote monitoring platforms and in-person clinic interactions. The role requires strong communication skills, excellent organisational ability and a patient-focused approach to managing therapy programmes and diagnostic processes.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Provide patient education and support through nurse helpline services and clinical consultations
• Assist with therapy setup and support for patients using respiratory and sleep therapy devices
• Conduct follow-up consultations to ensure therapy adherence and optimise patient outcomes
• Monitor patient compliance using remote monitoring technologies and digital platforms
• Arrange and coordinate diagnostic testing both remotely and within clinic environments
• Manage patient records and documentation within electronic patient management systems
• Liaise with physicians, respiratory technicians and nursing staff in hospital environments
• Provide support to wider clinical and commercial teams when required
• Assist with troubleshooting patient issues and provide solutions to improve therapy compliance
• Manage diagnostic equipment allocation and device logistics for patient testing
• Maintain accurate reporting and monitor key patient management metrics
• Deliver a high standard of patient-focused care and service

Candidate Profile

​

• Registered Nurse qualification essential
• Experience in respiratory care or sleep therapy desirable though not essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach
• Ability to manage patients across telephone, digital and clinic environments
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage workloads
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and electronic patient management systems
• High attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
• Self-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
