Salary: Competitive base salary plus performance related bonus and benefits
About the Role
Grey Wave Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist for a healthcare technology provider offering advanced medical, surgical and consumables solutions across hospital and clinical settings. This field role focuses on promoting and supporting a broad portfolio of medical-surgical instrumentation, consumables and integrated healthcare solutions in Northern Ireland.
You will engage clinical stakeholders, deliver product education, provide technical support, and drive territory growth through service excellence and consultative engagements. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships collaborating with internal teams and contributing to strategic business development in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute territory business plans to meet or exceed sales and growth targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians theatre teams procurement and hospital administrators
• Deliver product education demonstrations and training sessions to clinical users and teams
• Provide technical and clinical support for product usage, installations and service queries
• Identify new business opportunities across hospital and healthcare accounts and expand the customer base
• Collaborate with marketing, service, and sales colleagues to launch new products and promotional programmes
• Monitor competitor activity industry trends and customer feedback to inform strategy and product positioning
• Prepare accurate account plans, forecasting and CRM entries to reflect territory activity
• Support tender processes contract negotiations and purchasing workflows where required
• Travel throughout the territory to meet customers attend cases or training and provide on-site support
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the company’s medical-surgical portfolio, clinical workflows and market dynamics
Candidate Profile
• Minimum three to five years’ experience in medical device or healthcare device sales or clinical support environment
• Strong understanding of hospital clinical workflows, theatre usage or surgical consumables preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, training and presentation skills
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business in a field role
• Self-motivated, organised and commercially aware while being comfortable in a clinical and technical setting
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM systems for planning and reporting
