About the Role

Grey Wave Recruitment is seeking a Senior Product Specialist - Orthopaedics for a leading surgical solutions provider operating across joint replacement trauma reconstruction arthroscopy and theatre based instrumentation. This is a field based role supporting orthopaedic surgeons theatre teams and hospital stakeholders across the Dublin and Leinster region while driving commercial growth through technical expertise product education and high quality service delivery.

You will be responsible for developing strong clinical and commercial relationships supporting theatre cases providing product demonstrations and contributing to strategic account development. This role requires a strong understanding of orthopaedic surgery excellent communication skills and the ability to operate with autonomy while collaborating effectively with the wider sales and clinical teams.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the orthopaedic portfolio across the region including joint replacement trauma systems arthroscopic technologies and theatre instrumentation

• Provide in theatre support during orthopaedic procedures ensuring appropriate product use and technical guidance

• Deliver high quality product education training and presentations to surgeons theatre staff and hospital teams

• Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders surgeons registrars and procurement staff

• Identify new business opportunities and support the conversion of priority accounts

• Collaborate with internal sales clinical and marketing colleagues to support product launches and commercial initiatives

• Maintain awareness of competitor activity market trends and surgical developments

• Prepare accurate account plans forecasting and CRM updates

• Support tender processes and provide input into commercial proposals when required

• Attend relevant exhibitions training programmes and clinical meetings

• Manage loan kits consignment stock and company assets within the territory

• Follow up on leads enquiries and clinical requests to ensure exceptional customer service


Candidate Profile

• Minimum five years experience in orthopaedic sales clinical support or theatre based technical roles

• Strong understanding of trauma recon arthroscopy or joint replacement procedures

• Scientific biomedical physiotherapy theatre nursing or related clinical background is advantageous

• Proven ability to communicate complex technical information to consultant level

• Strong influencing skills with the ability to build trusted clinical relationships

• Highly organised self motivated and capable of managing a busy theatre based schedule

• Strong commercial mindset with experience in both key account management and new business development

• Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms

• Full clean driving licence
