About the Role

​

Grey Wave Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist for a leading medical solutions provider working across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company recognised as a “Great Place to Work,” with a strong focus on innovation, clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

In this field-based role, you will be responsible for delivering a Focused Echocardiogram Service, supporting patients referred by GPs and Integrated Care Hub Cardiologists. Using AI-driven cardiac ultrasound software, you will ensure accuracy, consistency and a high standard of patient care while working in alignment with national health service design principles.

You will play a vital role in providing timely and accurate diagnostics, working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centred care. This position is suited to a registered nurse who is proactive, detail-oriented and confident in communicating with both patients and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Deliver high-quality, patient-focused echocardiogram services in the Arklow region

• Utilise AI-guided ultrasound software to ensure consistent and accurate imaging

• Prioritise urgent referrals and complete all scans within prescribed timelines

• Clearly communicate procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for more efficient service delivery

• Adhere to clinical protocols, best practice and regulatory standards

• Maintain current clinical knowledge to ensure ongoing service quality

• Build strong relationships at all levels through effective communication and professionalism

Candidate Profile

​

• Registered Nurse qualification required

• Previous experience in cardiology desirable but not essential

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong IT proficiency, including Patient Management Systems, Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Experience with video conferencing and paperless systems

• Proven attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage a varied workload

• Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, flexibility and follow-through

• Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland
