About the Role

Grey Wave Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to support patients and healthcare professionals in the management of sleep disordered breathing and respiratory therapy solutions. This field-based role focuses on delivering patient education, clinical support and therapy monitoring across hospitals, clinics and community settings throughout the East of Ireland.

You will work closely with respiratory clinicians, nursing teams and patients to support therapy initiation, monitor treatment compliance and provide ongoing education and technical guidance. The role requires strong clinical communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage patient care through both in-person clinics and digital monitoring platforms.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Provide patient education and clinical support for respiratory therapy solutions across clinic, hospital and home environments
• Support therapy setup including initial device configuration and patient training
• Monitor therapy compliance and follow up with patients to optimise treatment outcomes
• Manage and analyse compliance data through telemonitoring and digital patient platforms
• Conduct follow-up clinics and patient consultations in designated clinical settings
• Liaise with physicians, respiratory technicians and nursing teams within hospital environments
• Deliver training workshops and educational sessions on respiratory products and therapy management
• Maintain accurate patient records and update relevant patient management systems
• Support the delivery of a high-quality patient focused service across the wider clinical team
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, data protection and healthcare protocols

Candidate Profile

​

• Registered Nurse qualification essential
• Experience in respiratory care or sleep therapy desirable though not essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks
• Comfortable working with telemonitoring systems and digital patient management platforms
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and patient management systems
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Full clean driving licence
