About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Account Manager to join a leading healthcare solutions provider specialising in decontamination equipment and infection prevention systems for hospitals and clinical environments.


The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth across the Leinster region, managing key hospital accounts, and developing long-term partnerships within the Irish healthcare sector. You’ll combine commercial acumen with technical expertise to deliver trusted solutions that support patient safety and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop key customer relationships across hospitals and healthcare facilities.

  • Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and support on decontamination and infection prevention solutions.

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and analyse performance to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain in-depth product and industry knowledge, staying current with best practices and HSE standards.

  • Conduct regular client visits, site assessments, and technical presentations.

  • Gather and report competitor and market insights to help shape commercial strategy.

  • Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to ensure high-quality customer support.

  • Participate in relevant training, conferences, and international manufacturer meetings as required.




Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in medical device or healthcare sales, ideally within decontamination, infection control, or capital equipment.

  • Strong understanding of the Irish healthcare market, including regulatory and procurement frameworks.

  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and discuss product performance and applications.

  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently across a regional territory.

  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland (and occasionally overseas).

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
