About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Medical Device Product Specialist to join a leading provider of innovative surgical technologies across Ireland.

This role is perfect for a proactive, commercially minded professional who’s eager to combine technical understanding with relationship-building in the fast-paced world of medical devices. You’ll work closely with surgeons and clinical teams across orthopaedics, gynaecology, and urology, providing trusted solutions that enhance patient care and surgical performance.

It’s a dynamic, field-based position offering a mix of hands-on technical engagement, sales development, and ongoing learning - backed by comprehensive product training and strong career progression support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within the assigned Dublin/Leinster territory.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital stakeholders.

• Promote and demonstrate surgical devices and healthcare solutions to medical professionals.

• Identify new business opportunities and provide insights on customer needs and market trends.

• Achieve business development goals and territory sales targets.

• Deliver engaging product presentations and technical support in theatre environments.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the highest level of customer service.

• Maintain accurate reporting and territory intelligence on activities and outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Honours Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8 or higher) required.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Healthcare (clinical, nursing, or allied health)

• Business (sales, marketing, finance, or commerce)

• Engineering (biomedical, biochemical, or related field)

• Science (microbiology, neuroscience, biology, etc.)

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Entrepreneurial and self-starting mindset with a strong learning attitude.

• Confident presenter capable of simplifying and conveying complex technical concepts.

• Team-oriented, responsible, and eager to develop a lasting career in healthcare sales.

• Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
