About the Role

Grey Wave Recruitment is seeking a Product Specialist to support the promotion and development of innovative surgical solutions across hospital environments. This role combines clinical engagement, technical product knowledge and business development activities, supporting surgeons and clinical teams with advanced medical device technologies.

Working closely with healthcare professionals, the successful candidate will provide product education, technical guidance and commercial support while helping to grow market presence within the assigned territory. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop a long-term career within the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Promote and support a portfolio of surgical devices and healthcare solutions within hospital environments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians and hospital stakeholders
• Provide product education, demonstrations and technical support to healthcare professionals
• Identify new business opportunities and support the growth of existing customer accounts
• Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to territory development objectives
• Gather market intelligence including competitor activity and emerging clinical needs
• Deliver product presentations and communicate technical information clearly to clinical audiences
• Maintain accurate territory reporting and customer account information
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to support marketing initiatives and commercial strategy
• Ensure high levels of customer service and technical support across all accounts

Candidate Profile

​

• Third level qualification required (Level 8 or equivalent) in science, engineering, healthcare, business or a related discipline
• Experience within healthcare, medical devices or commercial sales environments advantageous
• Strong interest in building a career within the medical device industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to clinical audiences
• Strong relationship building and networking capability
• Self-motivated with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Commercially aware with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory
